Update 03/02/10

Still haven’t had time to get around to posting anything new yet. ><  Sorry!  I haven’t had time to do much of anything really as of late.  Not to mention my friend is now borrowing my Princess Debut game so I can’t post about that until I get it back.  I also do other translation work which I’m really behind in.  My mmo addiction isn’t helping the situation either.  I’m going to try and ease off a little bit on the Hello Kitty Online so I can let myself be productive and get stuff done.  So off the top of my head here’s what I intend to post about in the near future:

  • Tsuki no Hikari, Taiyou no Kage walkthrough
  • Game intro for Princess Debut
  • Kurayami no Hate de Kimi wo Matsu walkthrough
  • Possible Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 1st Love Plus playthrough/walkthrough

Since I still have a lot to do I won’t be taking any requests for anything for a while.  I’m still just starting my collection of otome games and magazines and stuff so hopefully it’ll gradually grow. :)

Status Update

Just wanted to let everyone know that this blog hasn’t died already, I just haven’t had time to post anything new yet.  Be on the lookout for scans/pictures of volume 1 of Sweet Princess and the start of a Tsuki no Hikari, Taiyou no Kage walkthrough in the near future!

Kokoro no Kakera wo Atsumete (ココロのかけらを集めて)

I meant to start this blog by doing a walkthrough of Tsuki no Hikari, Taiyou no Kage but since I’ve been playing this game recently I decided to go ahead and introduce it.  The full title of the game is Kokoro no Kakera wo Atsumete ~Homukurusu・Marumu no Seichouki~, which means Collect the Fragments of the Heart ~Homunculus・Chronicle of Malum’s Growth~.  I came across this game a while ago but didn’t start playing it until about a week ago.  It originally came with Vol 9 of Cool-B (a BL game magazine) and Vol 3 of Sweet Princess, which is a side magazine specifically for otome games that Cool-B publishes every so often.  They eventually put it on their site as a free download, so *CLICK*!  Nothing’s better than free. Introduction

Hello everyone!

My name is Krystal (as you may have seen from my username) and I’ve decided to create this blog to host anything and everything I do with otome games.  I fell in love with otome games toward the end of last year and like many other things that catch my interest, I got sucked deep and learned anything I could.  I’m still what you might call a n00b but I’m slowly learning and expanding my repertoire of games and knowledge.

The first otome game I ever played (surprise surprise) was Yo-Jin-Bo!.  I love the game to death and have gotten many of the possible endings.

The second game I played was Kare to Kare Made ~DX Twins Pack Version~.  Didn’t like it as much as Yo-Jin-Bo! for various reasons so I didn’t play it much but still generally liked it.

Third one I played was Tsuki no Hikari, Taiyou no Kage.  This was the first mature otome game I ever played and wow was it an experience.  The first time through was very depressing as I didn’t get any kind of good ending so I went back and finished the game with the good ending of the character I was targeting.

Fourth game I played was Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 1st Love Plus.  My first run through of the game was utter fail and I plan to go back and play the whole game the right way (with the help of the official complete game guide mwahaha).

Anyhow, I’m a gamer in general so I’ll get sucked into games like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy and various MMO’s like Pirates of the Caribbean Online and Hello Kitty Online.
